Every Thursday evening during the program year there is a simple meal prepared by volunteers and offered for $4.00 per adult, Youth 7-12 grade--$2.00, K-6 grade--$1.00, preschoolers and cooks eat free. The meal begins at 5:45 and allows for bell choir and adult choir members to enjoy a meal before practice. Other groups of the church often plan their meeting times for Thursdays evening to allow participants to eat dinner while meeting. Many people who have no responsibilities stick around for conversation. Or come early and help the "Bulletin Babes" fold and assemble the Sunday bulletins!

A group of women from Edgewood meet for breakfast at Coral Gables once a month. The group is different each time and has no organized structure; it's just an opportunity to get together for congeniality and friendship.
4th Wednesday of each month, 9:00 a.m.

If you like to read and enjoy lively discussions of an interesting variety of books--novels, biographies, memoirs, essays--come join us. Newcomers always welcome.

Join us for informal one-hour talks by any church member or friend about a matter of great interest or concern to them.

Edgewood Eagles Co-ed Softball Team plays on Thursday nights at Nancy Moore Park in Okemos.
May - July

Join us at Edgewood for great food and fun. The event features a bounce house, cake walk, face painting, balloon animals, snow cones, crafts, and carnival games. It includes hotdogs and veggie dogs with a potluck for side dishes and desserts. We include advocacy opportunities to work for justice for LGBT families as we celebrate all types of families.

Edgewood Camp is a wonderful summertime gathering of Edgewood members and friends at Stony Lake Camp near Lake Michigan. We enjoy community, learning, play, and renewal.  There are cabins and the "White House" and many people camp in tents or RVs. There are many diverse opportunities for participation for everyone at camp. The cost of camp is relatively modest and some scholarships are available. We invite everybody to come and enjoy camp for any or all of the time. Early August 2012

Small dinners in the homes of members and friends are a great way to meet new people and get better acquainted with old friends.
